Free to the Public
By, "free to the public" we don't just mean that you're allowed to share "The Little Red Bird", we're committing ourselves to making this book available to every child in the world. We've had the book translated into six languages with more coming.
By, "free to the public", we don't mean that it'll be available only to Kindle owners or iStuff owners. Our book will be available on every major platform that we know of. If you can't open "The Little Red Bird" on your digital media device, then tell us and we'll fix the error. By, "free to the public", we don't mean that we strictly guard our book's distribution as a marketing strategy. Distribution is totally legal. We encourage all readers to do WHATEVER they want with our story. It can be printed and sold at competitive or lower price by anyone in any market. It can be changed. We'd like to be credited, of course, but it's not a requirement. You cannot steal it. It's OURS. It's YOURS. |
"The Little Red Bird" is a children's book intended to be read to children with their parents. We believe that story time is the third most important part of a kid's day, next to eating time and sleeping time. During story time you're bonding with your parents; you're hearing their voices, you're learning to think abstractly, you're learning valuable morals and skills, and you're learning to read. All at once. Wow.
"The Little Red Bird" is written with story time in mind, but we're also committed to making our book a useful toy and tool as well. It's 2012 after all, so our book is currently being developed into an interactive program that reads itself to kids, features "self reading words" and is accompanied by an original musical score written and performed by Julia Dreyer. You can see a Demo page that will give you an idea of the whole product.
Giving our book away is not just an act of charity (not to undermine acts of charity), but a well thought out business model. Please check out the Publishing Philosophy section to find out why our business model is better for everyone on the planet.
Please check in as we update! The book is finished and we can't wait to share this story with everyone!
Thanks for stopping by.
